The most common cover lifters are shown below.
Bottom Mount
Bottom Mount Lifters have a bracket that screws to the base of the spa. 12" - 18" of clearance needed. Various styles of mounting plates can also be ordered depending on application.
Side Mount
Side Mount Lifters mount at the top edge of spa or slightly lower depending upon the skirting type on your spa. 12" - 18" of clearance on the cover side is needed.
Hydraulic Top Mount
Hydraulic Cover Lifters only require 4" - 6" of space behind the spa. This type of lifter is great for spas inside gazebos that has limited space to place a cover.
